This new collection brings a stylish upcycled and environmentally friendly offering to our product lines.
Used chopsticks are gathered from local eateries, cleaned and sorted. They are then treated with a low VOC water based resin, and compressed using heat and pressure into ‘tiles’. This process sterilizes the chopsticks and creates a beautiful, dense and durable new material which is even harder than oak. This all happens in a local micro factory.
These upcycled bamboo tiles are then transformed into helpful pieces for your home. From occasional pieces like the end tables, or office furniture such as the adjustable height desks, to small accessory pieces for the home such as cutting boards, there are many ways in which it can enhance your home. The coasters, iPad and phone holders also make great hostess gifts or stocking stuffers.
